Teaching Purposes

TP1 History students are required to do research in the field of basic academic knowledge and skills (interdisciplinary work, to establish causality between events from different angles, thinking, interpretation and inference) equip.

TP2 To enable students to evaluate historical events, facts and change from an analytical point of view and critically as a result of the history education they receive.

TP3 To provide the necessary theoretical and linguistic equipment to be able to read and analyze the primary sources to be used when conducting research in the field of history.

TP4 To contribute to students to master basic English terminology in the field of History.

TP5 To enable them to express the historical knowledge they have acquired from primary and secondary sources by critical method orally and in writing.

TP6 To provide students with the ability to use technology effectively while conducting historical research, as well as to work in a group, come to conclusions and convey this.

TP7 To ensure that students can establish the connection between history and today by providing them with knowledge of both local, national and universal as a result of the education they receive in the department.

TP8 To give students the awareness of professional ethics and social responsibility as a result of the education they receive in our department.

TP9 To ensure that students grow up as individuals who have perceived the importance of lifelong learning both in the field of history and in their personal development and who put it into practice.
