The internal and external stakeholders meeting was held on 30 October 2025 under the chairmanship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Canan Kuş Büyüktaş, the FEDEK Coordinator of the Department of History. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Yücel Namal, faculty members, student representatives, and external stakeholder representatives from various institutions and organizations.
During the meeting, comprehensive information was provided on the recent academic and administrative developments within the Department of History. Additionally, the quality assurance processes carried out within the scope of FEDEK, general accreditation preparations, updates to course contents, and efforts aimed at improving student satisfaction were evaluated in detail. Scientific, cultural, and social activities organized within and outside the department were also discussed, with emphasis on their contributions to students’ academic development and the department’s visibility.
Throughout the meeting, feedback and suggestions from internal and external stakeholders were received, and various assessments were made to enhance the current structure. Based on the participants’ contributions, a roadmap for improvement and development activities to be implemented in the upcoming period was established.
This meeting marked an important step toward maintaining the Department of History’s commitment to continuous development and strengthening effective communication with its stakeholders.
