The meeting organized for the purpose of introduction and orientation with first-year students of the Department of History was held on 08 December 2025 at 09:00 in Classroom 105 of the Teoman Duralı Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The session began with the opening remarks of the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Yücel Namal, followed by presentations from the vice chairs of the department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Ötenkaya and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kamuran Karabalık, who provided general information regarding the departmental administration, operational structure, academic procedures, and communication channels. Afterwards, students were given the opportunity to speak, and their requests, challenges, and expectations were listened to. Additionally, a brief explanation was given regarding the FEDEK accreditation process, and the importance of accreditation for academic quality and student experience was emphasized.
